Matter of Matters

Graphic Design

Matter of Matters is a synthetic physicolinguistic theory which regards language as matter with physical properties. This matter forms everything in the world, obeys physical laws and can be researched and analysed by methods of natural sciences.

Research Institute for Matters of Matter is an independent institution, which primary purpose is investigation of matter within the framework of the physical theory of language and making results open to public. The Institute does not follow commercial purposes and supports ideas interchange in every possible way. Visit our website for more information.

Language, just like any physical matter, has states. Three classical states of language matter observable in everyday life are: Thought (Gas), Speech (Liquid) and Text (Solid). All states have different characteristics and properties. Phase transitions are similar to those of physical matter.

1. Sublimation: Text to Thought (reading text silently)
2. Condensation: Thought to Speech (expressing thoughts)
3. Freezing: Speech to Text (dictation)
4. Vaporisation: Speech to Thought (hearing speech)
5. Deposition: Thought to Text (writing down thoughts)
6. Melting: Text to Speech (reading text aloud)
